Buttons - Portfolio Examples
Navigation these days can be achieved by various forms of text link, by stand-alone buttons, or by DHTML Drop-down menus, where the "buttons" are incorporated into a menu scheme with dropdowns or popouts..
DHTML Menus are a very tidy way to go, especially for large sites with a lot of pages or categories to be accessed. Dropdowns can be nested within each other to allow for a great number of categories and subcategories to be accessed from each and every page. This type of menu can be created by using or adapting pre-set color schemes, so it's possible to customise them to the color-scheme of the site fairly easily.
DHTML Menus can also be created using specially designed buttons and fitting those into the structure of the menu - which allows for an even more custom feel, while still retaining the convenience and slickness of DHTML. You can find an example of specially customised buttons with DHTML drop-downs in a site I am creating for myself in my spare moments called Expos New Zealand.
The other really great advantage with DHTML menus is that they are easily modified if developments in site layout require it. It's a great relief if one works some major changes in site layout, to know that the navigation can be easlity updated in one set of DHTML .js files, rather than having to alter a considerable number of pages.

I specialise in creating Icons to reflect the branding style of your business or website, but I'm equally at home coming up with something totally new, if that's what you want.
